Working with files and folders
In the File Browser, you can manage your image files by adding, deleting, and moving them. You can also add folders to the Favorite Folders list for quick access to your most frequently used folders. The Folder palette is where you can see the folder hierarchy of the files displayed in the File Browser. Creating new folders Choose File > New Folder. Type a name, and press Enter (Windows) or Return (Mac OS). Adding a folder to Favorites Select a folder, and then choose File > Add Folder to Favorites. To remove a folder from Favorites, choose File > Remove Folder from Favorites. Dragging files into the File Browser Select a file on your desktop, or in another application. Drag and drop the file into the File Browser window.
Deleting files Select the file or files you want to delete, and do one of the following
Moving files Select the file, and then drag it to a different folder. ![]() Moving a file from the File Browser to the Desktop
Copying files Select the file, and then Alt-drag (Windows) or Option-drag (Mac OS) it to a different folder. Rotating files Select one or more files. To rotate the images clockwise by 90°, click the Rotate Clock Wise button
