Arranging image maps
The Web Content palette displays the stacking order of image maps. The image map on the top of your stack takes precedence, so it's helpful to be able to arrange them. You can specify which image map area is on the top and bottom of the stack and move image map areas up or down in the stacking order. To change the stacking order of image map areas: Do one of the following: - Select one or more image map areas you want to arrange. You can select a combination of tool-based image map areas and layer-based image map areas. Then, with the Image Map Select tool active, click a stacking order option in the options bar: Bring to Front
, Bring Forward , Send Backward , Send to Back . Alternately, choose a stacking order command from the Image Map palette menu. - Drag an image map up or down in the Web Content palette. (See Using the Web Content palette.)
- Select a number of image maps with the Image Map Select tool. Either right-click or Control-click with the cursor in one of the image maps. This brings up the context menu for image maps. Select from the Align choices: Top Edges, Vertical Centers, Bottom Edges, Left Edges, Horizontal Centers, Right Edges. See Aligning and distributing tool-based image maps.
