Exporting animation frames as files (ImageReady)
You can export and save animation frames as individual files using a variety of formats, including GIF, JPEG, PNG, WBMP, and SWF. Different format settings can be assigned to individual frames, or one format can apply to all exported frames. Frames are saved with automatic file naming. You can set options to control the generation of names. All format settings are saved with your ImageReady document for convenience when using the feature again.
To export animation frames as files: - Choose File > Export > Animation Frames as Files. If you're exporting only specific frames, select the frames in the Animation palette before you choose the Animation Frames as Files command.
Click a frame in the Animation palette to select it. Shift-click to select a series of frames. Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click (Mac OS) to select noncontiguous frames. - In the Export Animation Frames as Files dialog box, under File Options, click Choose to select a destination for the exported files.
- Enter a name in the Base Name text box to specify a common name for the files.
Click the Set button to set up specific options for file naming. Elements include document name, frame number, file creation date, punctuation, and file extension. - If you selected frames in the Animation palette before choosing the Animation Frames as Files command, you can enable the Selected Frames Only option to export only the frames you selected. Deselecting this option exports all the frames in your animation regardless of whether you selected them or not.
